Happy Saint David’s Day.
Many of you know of our Welsh heritage here at The Lodge. On this first St David’s since the passing of our matriarch Sybil Morley (Nansi) Janes, the venerable Welsh war bride whose hard work and vision gave us all these beautiful woodlands and rolling pastures. We have awoken to what promises to be a glorious ski day! So the flags will be out and I’m sure that Roger will be playing a Welsh Choir or two over the outside speaker today. Grab your skis and a friend or three and come celebrate with us, it’s going to be a Blue Bird Ski day!
