Happy New Year to All

The Lodge had a couple of inches over wet ground. We are under a Winter Weather Advisory which is calling for 4-8 overnight and maybe more in higher terrain. All good..but the following two days are to be mid 40’s and some rain…

As a result, we will not be out grooming tomorrow morning. Our equipment will push the snow into the wet with little chance of freezing. It’s better to wait for the following cold to come. Over time the snow will settle, the ground temps will drop and we can then start the process when we know that following days will fix some of the problems.

So the Lodge building will remain closed then open Friday-Saturday evening for dinners. The rental shop will remain closed until conditions improve.

Our suggestion for season pass holders… go to the far end of the Peak Trail and ski to the well head. This area will  less wet, but you should bring an older pair of skis and a scraper…

We wish you strength and happiness in the coming year!
