For what it’s worth… I saw two wooly bear caterpillars which were completely black! A prediction of a hard winter according to old farmers traditions…
Couple this the immense quantity of tree nuts this fall, more than I can ever remember…which my father related to Mother Nature providing for the animals … another hard winter indicator … possibly?
