55 degrees and the R word…we will be closed Monday.
With that, we want to add that we had a lot of smiling skiers this weekend from as far away as Cincinnati and Philadelphia. We were lucky to be on this hill and able to hold the snow…but coming mid- February warm up will wipe all this beautiful white away…
To that end, we have a special event next Saturday. Cosponsored by Wilderness Lodge and the Environmental Studies Department of Allegheny College, we will hold a premier showing of “Saving Snow” at 4:00 p.m.
This presentation has been created by Adaption Now and is being shown nationwide. It is a report on the result of climate change on the snow sports industry. This directly impacts our skiers and we are asking for your support.
