Good feels very middle of the road…Safe. Like saying not bad…
Good is a reasonable qualifier, but boring, without snap and appeal..
Good, while placed squarely between very bad and unbelievable, rests in the comfort zone of a five or six on a scale of ten. You could argue that it is possibly a seven, but most certainly not a eight.
Today was one of those, no wind, sun is out, twenty six degrees which is the perfect skiing temperature, days where everyone is smiling and joy abounds. A day where numbers and approval ratings don’t apply.
No. It was not good, but something else. A quality to be savored. A memory to be recaptured.
Perhaps Saturday will be an equal or better day to experience Wilderness skiing.
